SEMS deco – Terms and Conditions

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

Welcome to the SEMS deco online store – www.semsdeco.lv (hereinafter referred to as the “website”, “we”, “our”, or “store”).

By purchasing products on our website, you automatically agree to these Terms and Conditions. We therefore encourage you to read them carefully before making a purchase.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time by publishing an updated version on this page.

2. PURCHASES AND PAYMENTS

To place an order, you must provide personal and payment-related information necessary for issuing an invoice and processing your order.

Available payment methods:
Payments are processed by the payment platform makecommerce.lv; therefore, the personal data required for payment execution is transferred to the platform owner Maksekeskus AS. Supported payment methods include:

  • Latvian online banking payments (Swedbank, SEB, Citadele, Luminor)

  • Visa / Mastercard payment cards

  • Apple Pay and Google Pay

Payments are processed securely using SSL encryption. Your payment details are not stored in our system.

3. DELIVERY

Delivery options and costs

We deliver goods within the European Union using UPS, Omniva, and Venipak parcel lockers and courier services.

  • Free delivery within Latvia for orders over €100

  • Standard delivery costs are calculated at checkout

Delivery time

  • Standard delivery: 2–7 business days after payment is received

Delivery times are indicative and may change due to unforeseen circumstances.

In the case of dropshipping, delivery times may be longer depending on product availability and the location of the partner’s warehouse.

Depending on the delivery method, products may be shipped either from the SEMS deco warehouse in Latvia or directly from a partner warehouse within the European Union (dropshipping model). The chosen delivery method may affect delivery time and the return address.

Damage during delivery

If the product is damaged during delivery, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt and send photos to info@semsdeco.lv.

Delivery outside the Baltic States

If delivery is required outside the Baltic States, delivery costs will be issued in a separate invoice.

Delivery costs and delivery speed depend on the destination and the selected delivery method.

4. RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Right of withdrawal and returns

You have the right to return a product within 14 days of receipt. The product must be:

✔️ In its original packaging
✔️ Unused and undamaged
✔️ Accompanied by the order confirmation

Return shipping costs are covered by the buyer.

If the product has been used or damaged, we reserve the right to reduce the refund amount to up to 80% of the original price.

How to return a product

Returns are accepted only after prior approval from SEMS deco. Please send an email to info@semsdeco.lv including your order number and reason for return.

Customers must not send products back without written confirmation and a specified return address. If a product is returned without prior approval or to an incorrect address, SEMS deco is not responsible for receiving the shipment or for possible loss.

Please return the product using UPS, Omniva, or Venipak services.

After receiving and inspecting the product, the refund will be issued within 14 days to the bank account you provided.

We do not require a special return form – an email notification is sufficient.

5. LIABILITY AND WARRANTIES

SEMS deco is not responsible for delivery delays caused by third-party couriers or force majeure circumstances (e.g. strikes, weather conditions, etc.).

Product images on the website may slightly differ from the actual product (for example, color shades may vary depending on screen settings).

We are not responsible for installation errors or incorrect application of wall stickers.

6. PRIVACY POLICY AND PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

SEMS deco processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Personal data is used solely for order processing and customer service purposes.

What data is collected?

  • First and last name

  • Email address and phone number

  • Delivery address

  • IP address and cookies (if consent is given)

Your rights under GDPR

✔️ The right to object to the processing of your personal data

Transfer of personal data to third parties

To ensure order fulfillment and delivery, SEMS deco transfers the necessary personal data (first name, last name, delivery address, phone number, email address) to its logistics and dropshipping partners, who act as data processors within the meaning of Article 28 of the GDPR. Personal data is transferred solely for the purpose of order fulfillment and is not used for any other purposes.

7. COOKIE POLICY

Our website uses cookies to improve the user experience. By visiting our website, you agree to the use of cookies unless you have disabled them in your browser settings.

8. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for failure to perform contractual obligations or delivery delays caused by extraordinary and unforeseeable circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, fires

  • Strikes, supply chain disruptions

  • Government restrictions

9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND LEGAL MATTERS

All disputes shall be resolved through mutual negotiations.

If an agreement cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Republic of Latvia in accordance with Latvian law.

Customers may submit complaints to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC) or use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
